Five kilometers for a good cause

The Lions Charity Run is a worldwide fundraising run and will take place from April 26th to 28th, 2024. During this period, participants can decide for themselves when and where they run or walk the five-kilometer distance. The charity organization behind the Charity Run is Lions Clubs Austria. In 2023, the Lions raised over 40,000 Euros for children with diabetes and regional aid projects. We will use the proceeds from the 2024 Charity Run for the Lions Pupil Aid. We will also use it to support various social projects in Austria.

Running or Walking? Your Run, your decision!

The Lions Charity Run is your personal running event for a good cause. You decide when and where you complete your five kilometers between the 26th and the 28th of April 2024. The starting line can be your front door. You can decide whether you want to take part in the running classification or the Nordic Walking classification. Record your time, enter it on Race Result and measure yourself against participants from all over the world. We trust in your honesty.

Proceeds go to Lions Pupil Aid

The proceeds from the entry fees and donations from generous sponsors go to the Lions Student Aid. With this project, we support children and young people in Austria in integrating exercise into their everyday lives and carry out educational work in schools on the topic of healthy eating. We also use the proceeds to support various regional aid projects.

Running meetups

Together for a good cause!

Running is easier when you do it together. Lions Clubs all over Austria organise running meetups where you can run or walk together with like-minded people for a good cause.
